That mission was easier for me with a h/h team than with people.

Just bring Life Steal - I used Livia as an Orders/Blood Nec, two hero monks, and a lot of physical damage.

There are many reason why people doesn't look for people lately
1-When you look for a group, people are starting to call you noob (saying that you cannot make builds for your heroes etc etc)
2-Some people are playing GW:EN for the first time, so they take ages downloading files, and some people doesn't like that
3-Leavers (Leavers will be always there :P )
I prefer always to play with people instead of A.I. , I always believe that human > A.I. , but that is only my opinion.
And about Cynder is really easy , just take monks with PS and cast it to a runner who will take the barrel every time.

While H/H is often more efficient, it does require to pay more attention. Sometimes I love just following other people's calls and not having to keep everything in sight. Say, Tombs is henchable, but it's way more fun with people - even if that means one out of three times we get wiped because someone got their build wrong, or has no idea what they are doing. I get so bored with doing things on my own sometimes! PUGs are perfect for a little dungeon trip or a mission you already know how to do.
I've had a couple of very good PUGs in GWEN, so I consider myself lucky. It does appear to be harder right now to get the groups you want, but I think at some point people will play with groups again because it really is more fun (yes, unfrotunately Heroes have yet to master the art of conversation, even though Pyre's and Vekk's comments make me giggle uncontrollably sometimes)

In my opinion the fact that Eye of the North is somewhat more easy than the other campaigns, it's not surprising people prefer to just breeze through it with H/H.

No, you don't. That's why people use heroes and hench.

I go out with heroes/henchies mostly or with guildies...random player groups are just not doable. Too many dumb players that don't get it and that costs me too much time.
Whenever I go out with random players I am reminded again why it was a bad idea to do so. There are of course exceptions but they are too rare.
Amen yup she nailed it.

Well, getting a party can be tough in some places, but I see LFG for heart of the shiverpeaks all the time at the eye. Maybe you're just on at a bad time.
On a side note, if there are 6 people all going LFG, why don't they just all band together? Guess they're just to 1337 to party with those other obvious noobs or something?

Even the hench have good bars now, so that kinda rounds it down. Doing dungeons with a guildie + 7 heroes, that's just bl**dy murder.

The problem rests with the creation of heroes; if you're smart enough to prepare heroes for a certain area/enemy type, then there's almost no reason to try and find players wanting to clear an area/quest/mission/etc. So long as you can focus your character type against the major form of enemy in an area, and so long as you can focus your heroes to battle said enemy, then pick-up players are unnecessary. I've easily run both my nec and ele through gw:en w/out other real players (nec was first, took about 5 hours, ele only took about 3). Focus on what you'll be fighting in each area, plan around those foes, and you're golden.

Tell that to someone who has the money and time to prepare their hero's.
I don't have all year round to play this game like most people, and usually have better things to do anyway. But I still enjoy exploring and generally having a bit of laugh.
Anywhoo, I did the mission with a PUG (was a very unusual team), no one left, they made a lot of mistakes, but they stayed together all through to the end. With all the extra people carrying the barrels, the mission was a piece of piss (despite the fact most of them had mas DP)
HUMANS > H/H
Not saying that's always the case, afterall, I probably used PUGs far less than a lot of you guys.

Hahahaha, sorry, but Koss won't cast Mending on himself and rush into a group of level 28 mobs when you're monks are low on energy unless you order him to.
Some people on the other hand, will.

If you're looking for people for Dungeon runs, I've made a thread for that.
http://www.guildwarsguru.com/forum/s...php?t=10196825
But then of course, I've only got one reply :P
From my point of view, it's like this:
Smart people>Hero/Hench
Hero/Hench>Idiots and Mending whammos that rush in.

ROFL I tried that when Hard Mode was just released, 2 people PM-ed me
I didn't PUG at all for GWEN, but that had something to do with downloading 400-500 files before the mission started :P

I dunno where your looking, but GWEN if packed with LFP or LFG messages! Its the latest edition so everyone is there. There are lots of HOTS parties forming!
You do realise to check the party search too *coughcoughPressP*?

Is anyone here still yet to do the Heart Of The Shiverpeaks quest?
I can't find you in the game anymore
